CrossFit Kids for preschool is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of the preschool population.
Our CrossFit Kids preschool program is run by the author of the CrossFit Kids Preschool lesson plans, Debbie Rakos. The rest of the preschool training staff are amongst the most experienced and qualified training staff on the planet, with diverse backgrounds in children’s activities and education.
The CrossFit Kids preschool program focuses on the development of gross motor skills, vestibular development, and basic strength all in an unloaded and unweighted safe environment. The classes are also designed to address the social markers of introducing a young child into a class situation. Our classes teach children to love fitness and movement, setting them up for success in life.
Our CrossFit Kids preschool classes cover children ages 3 to 5 (and potty trained) and include a fun skill, a dynamic warm up, an age appropriate workout, and every class finishes with a game. Each class lasts approximately 20 minutes long, we encourage parents to stay and watch their child’s class.
