Our gymnastics program is co-ed and recreational. Gymnastics teaches children how to move their bodies in space; developing strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, power, speed, accuracy, and determination along the way. Our program uses the best tools to do so, regardless of gender. As a result, all our students practice the floor, vault, rings, single rail bars, parallel bars, and beams in a fun and supportive environment.

Our gymnastics program is run by Camzin Martin, former high-level gymnast in South Africa, who has been coaching gymnastics at a variety of levels with a wide range of age groups for the past ten years.
The program is broken down into the following classes:

Basic gymnastics:
This 1 hour long class begins with a fun warm up followed by stretching. The class then moves to practice skills on two apparatus (i.e. floor and vault) following which we play a game. The class is tailored towards children ages 5-12 years old with little to no gymnastics experience. Our focus is fun and the acquisition of new skills with safe technique. Common skills taught in this class include rolls, handstands, jumps on the beam, pull overs, and basic vaults.

Intermediate gymnastics:
This 1 hour long class begins with a fun, skill-focused, warm up followed by stretching. The class then moves to practice skills on two apparatus (i.e. floor and vault) following which we do conditioning. The class is tailored towards children ages 5-12 years old with gymnastics experience, a base of solid strength, and good technique. Our focus is fun and the acquisition of new skills with great technique. Common skills taught in this class include handstand forward rolls, back walkovers, tumbling, floor skills on the beams, pull overs, back hip circles, and intermediate vaults.

Teen gymnastics:
This 1 hour long class begins with a skill-based warm up, followed by stretching. We then work through progressions to culminate in a pinnacle skill or set of skills for the day. The class rotates through monthly focuses, allowing students to achieve relative mastery of a concept or skill before building on it in following months. The class is geared towards students 12 years and older and has is specifically geared towards students who also participate in CrossFit. Common skills taught in this class include intermediate to advanced tumbling, vaulting techniques, muscle ups and ring work, pull ups, pull overs, bar work, and static holds.
